My name is Whitney Washington and I have been in the field of Social Work for 17 years. I have worked as both a therapist and administrator in the field starting off with forensic populations and eventually moved into healthcare to provide patient centered services and ensure people are provided the quality of care they deserve. I have experience working with children, teenagers and adults and focusing on areas such as; family strengthening, self esteem, depression, personality disorders, anxiety and substance use disorders with a master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. I utilize Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a strengths based approach.
