Mainstream Mental Health Services, Inc. continues to grow and we would love to add more Qualified Mental Health Professionals to the Mainstream family. We are currently accepting applications and resumes to service Roanoke, the New River Valley, and Central and South Piedmont areas.

The QMHP is responsible for providing goal directed training to enable individuals diagnosed with a serious mental illness to achieve and maintain community stability and independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment.

Skill building services focus on functional skills and appropriate behavior related to the individual’s health and safety; activities of daily living and use of community services; assistance with medication management; and monitoring of health, nutrition, and physical condition. Services provided are based on needs identified during the assessment process, are guided by an Individual Service Plan, and take place in the individual’s home and community.
