Courtney Hopkins, LPC is from Salem,VA and obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Lynchburg. She has 4+ years of experience in the mental health field providing counseling and mental health crisis services to a vast population and age groups. Courtney has experience working with a variety of cultures and LGBTQ+ issues and has served populations including those with personality disorders, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders. Courtney has worked with individuals, families, children and adolescents who have experienced various types of trauma, family changes, and interpersonal issues. Courtney believes that by providing a safe and supportive environment, a client can explore their own thoughts, feelings and behaviors in a productive and empowering manner to find a better quality of life.
