Charlene has more than 20 years of work experience in the field of mental health. She has worked with individuals having intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, trauma, and serious mental illness. She has become a trauma informed trainer, provided counseling services and play techniques to youth, and has been a social worker at a psychiatric hospital in Catawba.
