I am a licensed professional counselor, LPC, who received my undergraduate degree in psychology at Radford University and Masters degree from Liberty University in professional counseling, graduating in 2015. I have been working in the Roanoke Valley since 2009, starting my career in counseling for adults with SMI. Through my experience and residencies,  I have worked as a social worker at  Child Protective Services, specializing in victims of Domestic Violence serving as the president for the local DV committee. I have experience working with at risk youth in the school setting, and a group home setting. I have experience working with at risk youth in the home setting including working with the family  of the children who are at risk. I obtained my sex offender certification while working at a boys group home and started to work with sex offender population, I currently am a certified sex offender therapist. I moved onto the clinical side after a while, working on providing assessments to individuals and families on their needs, as well as completing psychosexual evaluations for sex offenders (children and adults) for the court system. I have worked in a variety of outpatient settings providing therapy to a variety of different symptoms and diagnosis; anxiety depression, mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, self esteem, sex offender, sexual deviant behaviors, re-entry, substance abuse, and trauma; having experience in the inpatient and outpatient settings, including most recently in the jail setting. I work with adolescents, teens and  adults.
